Hie Shrine is known for its blessings of matchmaking, love fulfillment, career luck, and prosperous business. 

In the precincts, there are not only regular guardian dogs but also statues of sacred monkeys, which are said to bring good luck, and there are also amulets and votive tablets with monkey motifs. 

It is also known for its unusual torii gate in the shape of a mountain, and the “Senbon Torii” gate on the Inari approach is also one of the highlights.
