Tokyo Tower has an image of being red and white, but if you look closely, the red color is actually orange.

It is natural that Tokyo Tower, with its distinctly strong color, does not blend in with the surrounding scenery.

This color scheme is based on aviation law regulations that require buildings exceeding a certain height to be painted red and white.

The orange color that appears red is “International Orange,” a color stipulated by aviation law for safety purposes.

Tokyo Tower is designed to not blend in with the landscape in order to avoid danger.
